Configuration of the tags created on the CPU for the ERPC application
You select the tags you want to make accessible to the ERPC application.
Table of the ERPC tags
The table shows the PLC tags configured in the STEP 7 project that are available for the ERPC application. Any ERPC tags that may have been downloaded to the station previously are not displayed.
The following information is displayed in the table of tags configured for ERPC:

Additional information from the check of changes made
ERPC tags that you have changed in the STEP 7 project since the last time you saved have additional information displayed in the "Info" column by the check changes function (see below).

Tag
Name of the tag

Writable
The permissions configured for ERPC communication (reading from the CPU, writing to the CPU), as default only read permissions are assigned.

Comment
Comments on the ERPC tags specifically for ERPC communication.

Writable
By enabling the option "Writable", you cancel the write protection of the selected ERPC tags and release them for write jobs of the ERPC application.

Number of tags:
The total number of tags used for ERPC
Multiple selection of tags
You can select more than one tag using the <Shift> and <Ctrl> keys.
Check for changes
When you open the tag declaration, a check is made for any changes. The tags selected for the ERPC application are compared with the those in the tag table of the assigned CPU in the STEP 7 project (offline tag table).

The "Info" column displays the relevant information on differences between the ERPC tags and those of the tag table of the CPU.

If entries of the type "DEL", "ADR" and "TYP" exist, you will need to make suitable corrections before you save the STEP 7 project.
